  1. Getting Started

Child Theme

A child theme is a theme that inherits the functionality and styling of another theme, called the parent theme. Child themes are the recommended way of modifying an existing theme. To use the child theme of our theme, you have to download the whole package from ThemeForest and then extract it, while extracting it you'll find a zip file called theme name-child.zip, upload that one after you upload the main theme and it will be ready for use.

How to install the child theme

Let’s take a look at the different ways we can install and activate a child theme on your site. Installing a child theme requires you to already have the main Avestā theme running on your site.

What is required?

  • The Avestā parent theme should be installed.

  • Download the Avestā child theme

  • A valid Envato Personal token
